We verify professional credentials (NPI/medical license) against government registries, and we screen identity documents where that layer is active. This confirms the professional and identity claims a member has made to us. It is not a criminal background check, not a character reference, and not a guarantee of a member's intentions, honesty, or safety as a match. You are responsible for your own judgment and safety in any interaction, on or off the platform.
Itefaaq is a venue that connects verified members; we do not guarantee any outcome, match, or marriage, and we are not a party to any relationship formed through the platform. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itefaaq and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from the conduct of any member, whether verified or not. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Where identity verification includes a live selfie or facial-matching check, we collect this only with your explicit prior written consent, obtained separately during that step. We do not sell, lease, or trade biometric data. Biometric data is retained only as long as needed to complete verification and is deleted per the schedule described in our Data Security page.
You agree to indemnify Itefaaq against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or content or credentials you submit that turn out to be false or misleading.
