Not "we take security seriously" — the actual standards we build to, stated plainly.
We don't sell your personal information. Ever. To anyone.
In transit: every connection to Ittefaq is encrypted over HTTPS/TLS — the padlock in your browser bar, no exceptions.
At rest: our platform is built to store sensitive data — identity documents, license numbers, private messages — using AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by major financial institutions.
Passwords: never stored in plain text. Hashed and salted using modern standards (bcrypt or equivalent) — not even our own team can see your actual password.
Verification documents: government ID and license documents are stored separately from your public profile data and are never shown to other members.
Delete your account and your data, at any time, from your account settings — no phone call or support ticket required.
Request a copy of everything we hold about you.
Control exactly who sees your photo, and when — blurred until you personally approve a reveal.
Browse anonymously without appearing in anyone's visitor list.
We only collect what's actually needed to verify your identity and credentials and to help you find a match — not location tracking, not unnecessary device data, not information sold or shared with advertisers.
Ittefaq is pre-launch. The standards above are what our platform is being engineered to meet before real member data is ever collected — not a retroactive claim about an existing system. Once live, we'll publish confirmation of these measures rather than asking you to take our word for it.
