What Itefaaq is

Itefaaq is a free online platform where members voluntarily share profile information. We are a venue only. We do not verify identities, credentials, backgrounds, or intentions. We do not vouch for any member. We do not promise matches, outcomes, or marriages. We do not charge anything.

Your responsibility

• Anything you share must be true and yours to share. False or misleading information means immediate removal.
• Itefaaq is for adults 18+ seeking marriage.
• Verify before you proceed. Before meeting or trusting any member, do your own diligence: look up their credentials with our free doctor lookup, video-call first, involve your wali or family, and meet safely. Your safety is your responsibility.
• Harassment, abuse, or off-purpose use may result in suspension or removal.

Background checks

ITEFAAQ DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON MEMBERS. We do not screen for criminal history, sex offender registration, or any other background information. You are solely responsible for your own safety and diligence when interacting with any member.

Member content

Profiles and anything members share are member content, not ours. We don't pre-screen it, don't endorse it, and aren't responsible for it. If you see something false or harmful, report it and we'll review.

By sharing content on Itefaaq, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform as needed to operate the service. You keep full ownership of everything you share. You can delete your content at any time, which ends this license going forward.

Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on Itefaaq infringes your copyright, send a notice with (1) your physical or electronic signature, (2) your contact information, (3) identification of the copyrighted work, (4) identification of the infringing material and where it appears, (5) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner, to legal@itefaaq.com, our designated copyright agent. We respond to valid notices and remove repeat infringers.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, share false information, or misuse the platform — with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time, which ends these terms for you going forward.

No warranty

The platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no promises about the accuracy of member content, the availability of the service, or any outcome from using it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itefaaq and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from the conduct of any member. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Itefaaq against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or content you share that turns out to be false or misleading.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

Disputes

We hope disputes never arise. If one does, contact legal@itefaaq.com first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can't, any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis — you and Itefaaq each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class, collective, or representative action. Have an attorney review this section before you rely on it.
